Think about leaders you truly trust – often, they’re the ones who aren’t afraid to be a little bit human and share their own challenges or learnings. Sharing appropriate vulnerabilities can make you more relatable and build stronger connections with your team.
For your one-minute video today, I want you to share a brief, relevant personal experience where you faced a leadership challenge and what you learned from it. This doesn’t need to be a deep confession, but rather a genuine sharing of a situation where things didn’t go perfectly and how you grew as a result. By showing your own humanity, you create space for trust and connection.
