Think about when someone looks you directly in the eye – you feel heard and understood, right? Just rememeber to blink, so you do not accidentilly make people freak out. 😉
For your one-minute video today, I want you to talk a little bit about why you think making eye contact is important as a leader when you’re talking to your team or anyone you’re leading. Just focus on looking right into that camera lens as you’re speaking – imagine you’re talking to just one person. It’s all about building that direct connection and showing you’re present and engaged.
After you’ve recorded your video, take a moment to watch it back. Pay attention to your eyes. Did you look at the lens consistently? How did it feel? Note down one thing you think you did well with your eye contact and one area you’d like to improve tomorrow. This small reflection will help you become more aware and intentional. You got this!”
