Welcome to Day 13! Today, we’re focusing on Building Rapport (Warmth) and how this contributes to Creating an Inclusive Environment as a leader.
Think about leaders who make you feel welcome, valued, and included. A significant part of that comes from the warmth they convey in their communication – through their tone of voice, their facial expressions, and their overall demeanor.

For your one-minute video today, I want you to share a brief message about the importance of inclusive communication within your team or organization. As you deliver this message, consciously focus on conveying warmth and approachability through your tone of voice, a genuine smile, open body language, and perhaps even inclusive language.

After you’ve recorded your video, watch it back and assess the warmth you projected. Did you come across as approachable and inclusive? Did your tone and non-verbal cues align with your message? Note down one specific way you conveyed warmth effectively and one area where you could perhaps enhance your warmth and approachability tomorrow.
