Leaders who openly share their learning experiences, including mistakes and insights, model vulnerability and encourage a growth mindset in others.

For your one-minute video today, I want you to think about something you’ve learned recently that has impacted your leadership approach. This could be a new skill, a valuable piece of feedback, a lesson from a challenging situation, or an insight from a book or conversation. Without any notes, talk for one minute about what you learned and, importantly, how it’s influencing your actions or perspectives as a leader.

After you’ve recorded your video, watch it back and consider how effectively you communicated your learning and its impact. Did you clearly explain what you learned? Did you articulate how it’s contributing to your growth as a leader? Note down one key takeaway you shared and one way you could make your sharing even more impactful or relatable to your team in the future. Let’s keep learning and growing together!
