Just like a single word can spark ideas, an image can evoke a range of thoughts and feelings. As a leader, you often need to react and communicate effectively in unforeseen circumstances. This exercise helps you practice that quick thinking.
For your one-minute video today, I want you to find a compelling image. This could be anything – a photograph, a piece of art, even an abstract design. Look at the image for a moment, and then speak for one minute about what the image evokes in you, imagining it represents a leadership challenge, an opportunity, or a shift within your team or organization. Share your immediate thoughts, potential actions, or insights.
After you’ve recorded your video, watch it back and observe how you connected the visual prompt to leadership concepts. What aspects of the image stood out to you? Did your thoughts flow naturally? Note down one key connection you made and one way you could have explored the image’s relevance to leadership even further. Let’s sharpen your ability to respond to the unexpected!
