THE 30 DAY
CONFIDENT COMMUNICATION CHALLENGE
We have reached the end of Week 2! Today is Day 14: Weekly Reflection & Feedback, focusing on your non-verbal communication as a leader.
Over the past six days, you’ve explored expressive facial expressions, purposeful gestures, energy and enthusiasm, the concept of mirroring, minimizing distractions, and building rapport through warmth. Now it’s time to consolidate your learnings in this crucial area.

For your one-minute video today, I want you to reflect on your biggest learning or your biggest challenge related to your non-verbal communication as a leader this week. What new insights did you gain? What non-verbal cues felt most natural or most difficult to adjust?

After you’ve recorded your reflection video, your action for today is to share all seven of your videos from this week (Days 8 through today) with two different friends or colleagues than you shared with last week. When you share, ask them for specific feedback on your non-verbal cues in a leadership context. For example, you could ask: ‘Did I seem approachable in my videos this week?’ or ‘Were my non-verbal cues aligned with my spoken message?’ or ‘Did you notice any distracting habits?’.
Again, pay close attention to the feedback you receive. Different perspectives can offer valuable insights. Use their observations to guide your focus as we move into Week 3 and the art of unscripted speaking. You’re doing great!
